Heya! Coming week I will do some travelling, so I thought it would be nice to show you my essential bags when travelling! Usually you first think about what to bring, and not how you bring it; which is actually just as important! The right – size – bags can make your life on the road so much easier.. While writing this post I’m listening to “What do you mean” from Justin Bieber on repeat, lol. I just love that song! And I’ll hit the gym afterwards, just so you know, haha. Okay, let’s go.
Obviously, a make-up/toiletries bag is not to miss. I find this one from H&M very convenient because it’s transparent so I know what’s in there! The size is also very good, it fits a lot of stuff but it’s not too big to put in your hand luggage.
Okay you need a suitcase, but other than that I find this little clutch the most convenient of them all! Here I keep my phone, tickets, passport and some money close to hand. Especially the tickets and passport always got lost in my purse before I had this life saver. It’s like the cuter version of a neck pouch, haha. With this bag from Victoria’s Secret (not available online..) you can also remove the chain and use it as a normal wallet at you travel destination, win win.
I always bring one smaller every day bag in my suitcase. This one from Michael Kors is definitely a favourite because of the shape and size. It’s easy to pack – I can even put some socks in it to save space in my suitcase! – and it fits all the essential for a day trip, like wallet, phone, water bottle, etc. The fluffy pompom is from Topshop :)
Mmhh the hand luggage bag. Very important! This one from Carlo Pazolini (similar here) is my favourite, again for the shape and size. The lock in the front is very inconvenient though, but that’s why I keep my travel essentials in the little clutch. The bandana is kind of permanently attached to it at the moment, I think it looks so nice!
Last but not least, the suitcase! I guess every suitcase will have roughly the same size and shape, and contain the appropriate pockets on the inside. So this is just a matter of taste! I just love the quilted front on this River Island suitcase, and it even comes with the pompom attached!
